How do I get to Vienna?

Rule of thumb
– For day trips to Vienna with up to two people, we recommend public transport.
– Extension to a day ticket within Vienna: plus approx. 8 €
– On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, it's easier to park by car

By car
Albizia Apartments – Vienna Mitte: approx. 35 min
Throughout Vienna, short-term parking applies Monday to Friday on working days from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with a maximum stay of two hours. Check local signs for exceptions, especially in shopping streets and residents-only spaces. Outside these hours, parking is generally permitted unless signs state otherwise.
Public connection: train and subway
Baden train station – U1, Stephansplatz: approx. 45 min.
At Baden train station you can buy single tickets, day tickets and weekly tickets, optionally including all public transport within Vienna.
Discount for children, seniors, people in need, students and groups of 6 people or more.

Public connection: Badener Bahn
Josefsplatz Baden – Vienna State Opera: approx. 60 min.
The tickets described above are also valid for the traditional, slightly slower Badener Bahn, Josefsplatz stop. This also takes you to one of the largest shopping centers in Europe, the SCS Westfield (stop: Vösendorf SCS). There are also plenty of free parking spaces at SCS Westfield. (Exit A2: Mödling)
